Job Summary: Provides surgical assistance in a clinical setting, supporting procedures across all ages. Requires active Surgical Technologist Certification and preferred prior experience.
Key Responsibilities: Assists surgeons during operations, prepares surgical rooms and equipment, maintains aseptic techniques, schedules and documents specimens, and manages supplies and inventory. Participates in patient care, wound assessment, and dressing changes. Ensures safety and efficiency during intra-operative and cleanup phases, and supports training of new staff.
Qualifications & Skills: Certification or Act 80 grandfathering, strong attention to detail, ability to work in a team, and knowledge of surgical protocols.
