Seeking a Surgical Technologist to assist during surgical procedures across all patient ages.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting surgeons with patient care and treatment coordination
- Practicing aseptic techniques and preparing the operating room
- Participating in surgical timeout and verifying surgical sites
- Managing surgical supplies, instruments, and specimens accurately
- Monitoring patient reactions and documenting medical information
- Assisting with wound assessment, dressing changes, and room cleanup
- Anticipating surgeon needs intra-operatively and supporting team training
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active Surgical Technologist Certification or eligibility under Act 80 guidelines
- Previous experience preferred
- Strong attention to aseptic techniques and procedural accuracy
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
