Role: Surgical Tech II – Cardiovascular
Support complex cardiac and vascular procedures in advanced operating rooms by preparing and maintaining instruments and sterile fields.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, organize, and maintain surgical instruments, supplies, and sterile fields.
- Anticipate surgeon and team needs during cardiovascular cases.
- Maintain strict safety, infection-control, and sterile processing standards.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and anesthesia teams to support patient-centered care.
- Support efficient, high-quality perioperative workflow throughout procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven surgical technology experience with cardiovascular procedures.
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique, instrument care, and infection prevention.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication with multidisciplinary OR staff.
- Commitment to patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols.
