Key Duties
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field throughout procedures
- Manage surgical instruments and supplies, anticipating surgeon needs
- Assist with patient positioning and maintain proper procedure readiness
- Perform accurate instrument, sponge, and needle counts
- Set up and prepare equipment according to protocol
- Follow strict infection prevention and patient safety procedures
