Role Summary: Performs specialized technical duties in surgical or procedural environments under supervision, ensuring a safe operating room environment. Assists the surgical team with equipment and instrumentation, verifying availability and proper functionality of necessary tools.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the surgical team by managing equipment and instrumentation
- Ensuring the safety and readiness of the operating environment
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma required; N/A for preferred education
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program
- 1+ years of experience as a Surgical Tech; preferred
- Certification in Surgical Technology by recognized boards (required within 90 days of hire)
- Licenses and certifications such as National Board Surgical Technology, NCCCT, or military/public health programs are required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Key Requirements: Must obtain at least one recognized certification within 90 days of employment. Experience in surgical settings and relevant certifications/licensures are essential for the role.
