We are seeking a Surgical Technician II to collaborate with Registered Nurses in providing surgical care in the OR suite.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing instruments for surgical procedures
- Scrubbing in on cases to assist surgeons and prepare instruments
- Assisting with room turnover and instrument decontamination
- Contributing to the orientation of new surgical technicians
- Demonstrating knowledge of growth and development principles across age groups
- Providing staffing support for the ASC OR as needed
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program (CAAHEP or ABHES)
- BLS certification
- At least 3 years of surgical technician experience
- Mastery of advanced surgical skills and extensive knowledge in at least one specialty
- Basic computer skills
Preferred qualifications include:
- CST certification
- Experience in ambulatory surgery centers or hospitals
- Experience with multi-specialty services
