Role: Surgical Technologist Coordinator in Surgery
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and healthcare team to assess patient preoperative needs.
- Serve as the primary resource for instrumentation, equipment, supplies, and procedures within the surgical specialty.
- Plan, implement, and coordinate intraoperative patient care for effectiveness and safety.
- Maintain knowledge of scrub and circulating duties.
- Participate in on-call schedules as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Post-high school vocational or specialized training for CST or CSFA certification.
- At least two years of operating room experience.
- Required certifications include AHA BLS and certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Surgical First Assistant (CSFA).
