Surgical Stepdown Registered Nurse provides comprehensive bedside care to adult post-surgical and stepdown patients, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs.
Key duties include:
- Deliver direct patient care and monitor condition, response to treatment, and recovery progress.
- Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support safe, effective care.
- Oversee and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers.
- Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and professional standards.
- Follow facility protocols and clinical standards in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
