Role: Certified Surgical First Assist to support a busy operating room in a patient-centered, community-focused healthcare setting.
Key Duties:
- Provide first assist during a variety of surgical procedures
- Maintain strict aseptic technique throughout procedures
- Assist with tissue handling, retraction, hemostasis, and surgical closure
- Perform OR setup and ensure readiness for procedures
- Assist with patient positioning
- Complete required safety checks
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Qualifications & Skills:
- Certified Surgical First Assist credential
- Strong surgical assisting skills, including tissue handling and closure
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and OR safety practices
- Ability to collaborate in a team-based, high-safety environment
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
