We are seeking a professional to coordinate model cost, budget, and project reporting within the Procurement Planning Unit, supporting overall cost strategies in the Purchasing Division. Responsibilities include creating accurate cost summaries, analyzing data, supporting procurement strategies related to part sourcing, supplier management, and new model development, and assisting in long-term budgeting for future models. The role involves managing system access and providing training to associates and suppliers.
- Support creation of purchasing strategies via reporting and data analysis

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business (Accounting or Purchasing preferred), or equivalent experience. A minimum of 2+ years’ experience with a degree or 6+ years without. Skills required are proficiency with Honda Purchasing systems, Excel, PowerPoint, and relational databases (QMF/SQL). Strong communication, planning, project management, and presentation skills are essential.
This role involves no direct reports or financial management. Key decisions include prioritizing work, verifying budgets, and guiding financial reporting. Travel is expected occasionally, primarily for project needs, with physical work mostly desk-based.
