Seeking an experienced Nurse Educator to develop and deliver training programs for nursing staff in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Orienting and educating nursing personnel to ensure safe, effective patient care in compliance with regulations and facility policies.
- Developing staff education programs based on identified needs.
- Supervising and monitoring new nurses during their orientation.
- Conducting annual competency testing and performance evaluations.
- Overseeing Employee Health programs, including vaccine administration and tracking immunizations.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an RN license.
- At least three years of clinical experience, with preference for long-term care and educator roles.
- Strong clinical nursing skills and knowledge of gerontology preferred.
- Experience in adult learning and training is advantageous.
