Seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor for a part-time on-site role. This position involves treating patients during a 4-hour weekly or biweekly shift, complementing your current practice with flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex patients, aiding in return-to-work and functional restoration, and collaborating with medical and therapy providers. The role involves both non-surgical and surgical treatments for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries, as well as active communication with employers and case management.
Qualifications:
• Experience with work-related injuries
• State licensure, MD or DO degree, unrestricted DEA license
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopedic Spine Surgery
• Medical Malpractice Insurance
