Seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care in a healthcare setting. This flexible role involves treating patients during a 4-hour weekly or biweekly shift, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex patients, facilitating return to work and functional recovery, and collaborating with medical and therapy providers. The role involves both non-surgical and surgical treatment of orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries, along with active case management and communication with employers.
Qualifications:
- Experience with work-related injuries preferred
- Licensed and board-certified or eligible in Orthopedic Spine Surgery
- Unrestricted DEA license
- Medical malpractice insurance coverage required
