We are seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon as an independent contractor (1099) to provide on-site care in a flexible, part-time role. This position involves treating patients during approximately a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities include managing complex cases, facilitating return-to-work and functional recovery, and collaborating with medical and therapy providers. You will communicate with employers and participate in case management to improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, licensure, MD or DO degree, unrestricted DEA license, board certification or eligibility in orthopedic spine surgery, and malpractice insurance. Compensation is based on a revenue share model.
