Seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site specialist services in a healthcare setting. This flexible role involves treating patients during 4-hour shifts weekly or biweekly, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities include managing complex cases, facilitating return to work, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams for non-surgical and surgical treatments of orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. You will also engage in case management and communicate with employers.
Qualifications:
• Experience with work-related injuries preferred
• State licensure, unrestricted DEA license
• MD or DO graduate from an accredited program
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopedic Spine Surgery
• Medical Malpractice Insurance
