Seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor for a flexible, part-time onsite role. This position involves treating patients during approximately 4-hour shifts weekly or biweekly, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities include managing complex cases, facilitating return to work and functional restoration, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams. You will provide both surgical and non-surgical care for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries, communicate with employers, and participate in case management.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, licensure in the practice state, MD or DO graduation from an accredited program, unrestricted DEA license, board certification or eligibility in orthopedic spine surgery, and malpractice insurance. Compensation is based on a revenue share model.
