Speech Therapist – PRN

We are seeking a Speech Therapist to provide pediatric therapy in clients’ homes, requiring travel. The role involves evaluating, developing, and implementing treatment plans based on physician orders, and documenting progress and services accurately. The therapist communicates with clients, families, physicians, and team members, participates in conferences, and offers education to clients and staff.

Qualifications include:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Pathology with CCC or equivalent experience with neurological disorders in children or adults
  • Valid state license or active supervision for licensure
  • Registration with the Department of Health or eligibility
  • Preferred membership in Speech-Language Hearing Association
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle stress, organize effectively, and operate relevant devices
  • Interest in geriatric rehabilitation is a plus

Key duties include:

  • Assessing clients and developing treatment plans
  • Initiating therapy, monitoring progress, and adjusting plans as needed
  • Maintaining detailed documentation compliant with regulations
  • Collaborating with healthcare team members and participating in care planning
  • Providing education and participating in training sessions
