The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides comprehensive services to patients of all ages with communication and swallowing disorders, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention across outpatient and inpatient settings.


Responsibilities include evaluating patients promptly, developing and updating treatment plans, collaborating with healthcare team members, documenting progress, and educating patients and families. The SLP addresses speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions, and may conduct community education and attend meetings.


Requirements include a current Idaho SLP license, BLS certification, and ASHA membership is preferred.
