Role Overview: A Speech-Language Pathologist evaluates and develops treatment plans for patients with speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing issues. Key Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments in collaboration with physicians; develop and implement individualized treatment plans; educate patients and families; document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans according to departmental protocols; serve as a resource for staff and families regarding rehabilitation services; ensure compliance with regulatory standards and ethical practices; participate in staff meetings and ongoing education.
Qualifications & Skills: Must have a graduate degree from an accredited speech-language pathology program; hold current licensure and certifications (Speech-Language Pathologist, BLS); possess effective communication, customer service, teamwork, and basic computer skills; demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to safety and infection control standards.
