Speech Pathologist Role Overview
Responsibilities include:
Evaluating, assessing, developing, and implementing personalized speech and language treatment plans for patients with communication challenges.
Identifying issues and adjusting therapy strategies as needed.
Tracking and documenting patient progress and responses to treatment.
Celebrating patient successes and providing ongoing support.
Qualifications and Skills:
Current licensure or certification as mandated by state regulations.
Completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
CPR certification, obtained within 30 days if not already held.
Master’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience acceptable.
