Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

The Language, Speech, and Hearing Specialist provides assessment and remediation services for students with oral, language, voice, fluency, and auditory disorders.

  • Identifies students with communication impairments through screenings and evaluates their needs.
  • Develops and implements individualized instructional programs in collaboration with staff and families.
  • Coordinates referrals, participates in meetings, and maintains documentation and reports.
  • Works closely with teachers, specialists, parents, and paraprofessionals to support student progress.
  • Attends meetings, trainings, and contributes to district committees as required.
  • Requires a valid California teaching credential in language and speech, with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Full-time position scheduled Monday to Friday, serving only school days plus non-teaching days, with salary based on experience and training.
