The Language, Speech, and Hearing Specialist provides assessment and remediation services for students with oral, language, voice, fluency, and auditory disorders.
Identifies students with communication impairments through screenings and evaluates their needs.
Develops and implements individualized instructional programs in collaboration with staff and families.
Coordinates referrals, participates in meetings, and maintains documentation and reports.
Works closely with teachers, specialists, parents, and paraprofessionals to support student progress.
Attends meetings, trainings, and contributes to district committees as required.
Requires a valid California teaching credential in language and speech, with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
Full-time position scheduled Monday to Friday, serving only school days plus non-teaching days, with salary based on experience and training.
