**Responsibilities:**

  • Ensure compliance with policies for documenting, billing, and coding speech-language pathology and audiology services.
  • Provide resident assessment information, including signs of swallowing disorders, speech, hearing, cognition, and mental status.
  • Gather data on prior functioning for Medicare residents upon admission.

  • **Qualifications:**
  • Master’s Degree or equivalent in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Valid, unrestricted therapy license in the state.
  • Knowledge of skilled nursing regulations and long-term care guidelines.
