Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) providing direct speech therapy care to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, establish, and modify functional treatment goals for patients.
- Implement and follow speech therapy treatment plans according to physician referrals and regulatory standards.
- Chart patient progress accurately and timely using therapy software.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to ensure comprehensive care.
- Oversee and evaluate care provided by Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellows (CFYs), if applicable.
- Participate in community health initiatives and maintain professional relationships.
- Adhere to confidentiality, safety, and organizational policies.
- Maintain licensure, certifications, and continuing education requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited speech therapy program (MS or MA in Speech-Language Pathology).
- ASHA certification (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Current state licensure and CPR certification.
- Strong communication, decision-making, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and therapy software.
- Ability to perform patient assessments, implement treatment plans, and demonstrate professionalism.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply; one year of experience preferred.

- Provide patient-centered speech therapy services for diverse patient populations with orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-acute needs.
