This full-time Speech Language Pathologist position offers a $4,000 joining bonus and benefits including paid school holidays (Fall, Thanksgiving, Winter, Spring), federal holidays, health insurance (medical, dental, vision, life, supplemental), paid time off, sick leave, 401K, tuition reimbursement, and a Health Savings Account. The role is a 10-month position (August – May).
Responsibilities include providing direct and consultative speech and language therapy to K-12+ students with developmental disabilities and AAC users, developing IEPs, programming and maintaining augmentative communication devices, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, evaluating student progress, and maintaining documentation for Medicaid billing.
Qualifications require a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, valid Arizona SLP certificate and license, Fingerprint Clearance Card, and eligibility for Medicaid billing. Preferred qualifications include AZ Hearing Screening certification. The work environment involves moderate to loud noise and potential behavioral challenges. Compensation is $90,000 annually.
