This full-time Speech Language Pathologist position offers a $4,000 bonus, paid school holidays, federal holidays, health insurance, paid time off, sick leave, 401K, tuition reimbursement, and a Health Savings Account. The role is for a 10-month term (August–May).
As part of a collaborative team, the SLP will provide direct and consultative speech and language services to K-12+ students with developmental disabilities and AAC needs. Responsibilities include evaluations, developing IEPs, programming and maintaining augmentative communication devices, participating in multidisciplinary team meetings, documenting progress, collaborating with educators and families, and ensuring compliance with policies and Medicaid billing requirements.
Minimum qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, valid Arizona certification and license, Fingerprint Clearance Card, and eligibility for Medicaid billing. Preferred qualifications include an AZ Hearing Screening Certificate. The work environment can be noisy and may involve behavioral challenges. The position pays approximately $90,000 annually. Applicants must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence and appropriate licenses.
