We offer a full-time Speech Language Pathologist position with a $4,000 signing bonus, paid school holidays, federal holidays, health insurance, paid time off, 401K, tuition reimbursement, and a health savings account. The role is a 10-month position (August–May).
The SLP will collaborate with OTs, PTs, and other team members to serve K-12+ students, including AAC users and those with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include providing direct and consultative speech therapy, evaluating students, developing IEPs, programming augmentative communication devices, participating in multidisciplinary and IEP meetings, monitoring student progress, maintaining documentation, and billing Medicaid. Requirements include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, valid state certification and license, fingerprint clearance, and eligibility for Medicaid billing. Preferred qualifications include an AZ Hearing Screening Certificate. The work environment may involve moderate to loud noise and handling students with challenging behaviors. The position pays approximately $90,000 annually.
