Speech-Language Pathologist

This role involves providing direct patient care as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a skilled nursing facility, focusing on evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

  • Deliver individualized treatment programs, perform comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, and communicate progress with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, manage billing, and contribute to regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with team members, incorporate patient and family input, and participate in team meetings and training.
  • Support professional development through continuing education, peer interactions, and presentations.
  • Promote a positive facility culture by demonstrating professionalism, safety, and excellent customer service.
  • Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP certification, state licensure, and 2-3 years of rehab experience preferred.
