Speech-Language Pathologist

Join a growing therapy team as a Speech Language Pathologist, with full-time, part-time, and PRN options available, and potential relocation assistance.

Overview:
Contribute to enhancing communication and swallowing abilities through assessments, diagnoses, and treatments of speech and language disorders, improving patient quality of life.

Responsibilities:
– Provide speech therapy services aligning with physician orders and care plans
– Develop and update individualized treatment plans
– Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
– Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulations
– Foster positive resident relationships and uphold resident rights
– Oversee referrals and coordinate care, including swallow studies
– Participate in continuing education and implement new techniques
– Maintain a clean and organized work environment
– Perform physical tasks and operate related equipment

Requirements:
– Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and valid state license
– Preferably previous experience, especially in long-term care
– Must pass background checks, hold CPR certification if required
– Excellent communication, organizational, and technical skills
– Flexibility to work varied hours and travel as needed
– Ability to perform physical tasks and handle emotional stress
– Dedication to ethical conduct and compassionate care

Compensation & Benefits:
– $45.00 – $55.00/hour
