Speech Language Pathologist

The Language, Speech and Hearing Specialist assesses, diagnoses, and develops individualized instructional programs for students with communicative challenges, supporting their success in both special and regular education settings.

  • Conducts assessments, interprets results, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to establish goals and objectives for IEPs.
  • Provides remediation through individual and small group instruction, modifying plans as needed.
  • Offers consultation to school personnel, parents, and external agencies regarding students’ communicative needs and participates in IEP teams.
  • Maintains compliance with regulations, manages records, and pursues ongoing professional development.
  • Qualifications include a valid California credential for service as a Speech and Hearing Specialist.
  • This full-time or part-time role offers a competitive salary, benefits, and requires in-person work in San Jose, CA. The schedule is Monday through Friday, day hours.
