Speech Language Pathologist

The Staff Speech Pathologist provides evaluation and treatment for communication and dysphagia disorders across all ages, under physician prescriptions.

Responsibilities include

  • Assessing and treating speech, language, and oro-pharyngeal disorders, including dysphagia
  • Managing programs related to communication disorders
  • Counseling patients and families about their conditions and management
  • Developing and implementing augmentative communication systems
  • Participating in departmental operations, record-keeping, and discharge planning

  • Qualifications include a Master’s or doctoral degree, Speech-Language Pathology License, and Certificate of Clinical Competence. Preferred experience includes clinical fellowship or supervision by certified professionals.
