Speech Language Pathologist

The Staff Speech Pathologist provides evaluation and treatment for communication and dysphagia disorders across all ages, under physician prescriptions.

Responsibilities include

Assessing and treating speech, language, and oro-pharyngeal disorders, including dysphagia

Managing programs related to communication disorders

Counseling patients and families about their conditions and management

Developing and implementing augmentative communication systems

Participating in departmental operations, record-keeping, and discharge planning

Qualifications include a Master’s or doctoral degree, Speech-Language Pathology License, and Certificate of Clinical Competence. Preferred experience includes clinical fellowship or supervision by certified professionals.
