The Staff Speech Pathologist provides assessment and treatment for communication and dysphagia disorders across all ages, under physician prescriptions.
They
identify, diagnose, and rehabilitate speech, language, and swallowing disorders manage departmental programs and supervise services offer counseling to patients and families.
Required skills include
strong communication and hearing abilities knowledge of medical terminology experience with videofluoroscopy and dysphagia therapy is preferred.
Qualifications include
a Master’s or doctoral degree Speech Language Pathology License ASHA Certification.
This full-time role involves documentation, discharge planning, staff training, and working in person.
