This full-time Speech-Language Pathologist role involves providing direct patient care to improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions within a skilled nursing facility setting.
Perform comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, and communicate progress with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.Supervise clinical staff and ensure documentation meets regulatory and billing standards, including progress notes and discharge summaries.Contribute to team meetings, incorporate interdisciplinary input, and educate staff and families.Maintain professional development through continuing education and peer interactions.Adhere to safety protocols and promote a positive, collaborative work environment.Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, 2-3 years rehab experience preferred, CCC-SLP certification, and a valid California license.
