Speech Language Pathologist

The Speech-Language Pathologist provides direct patient care to improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing functions within a skilled nursing facility setting.

  • Evaluates and treats patients, develops treatment plans, and communicates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Documents services accurately, manages billing data, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supervises clinical staff, collaborates with the team, and participates in meetings and training.
  • Contributes to professional development through continuing education and peer interactions.
  • Maintains a positive facility culture, demonstrates safe practices, and upholds professional standards.
  • Qualifications include a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC-SLP, California license, and 2-3 years of rehab experience preferred.
