Key responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations to identify speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs
- Provide therapeutic interventions and monitor progress toward treatment goals
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on disorders, therapy strategies, and care plans
- Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes in an electronic health record (EHR) system
