Speech-Language Pathologist

Overview:
Contribute to enhancing residents’ communication and swallowing abilities through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders in a supportive environment. Focus on providing high-quality, person-centered care aligned with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating and developing individualized therapy plans
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
  • Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and billing practices

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and valid state license
  • Previous experience preferred, especially in long-term care
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and technology skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and travel as needed
  • Physical capability to perform essential tasks and operate related equipment
