Position Overview:
Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or direction of a licensed or registered nurse.
Key Responsibilities:
– Coordinate patient care in collaboration with other departments.
– Maintain professional accountability for assigned patients.
– Utilize clinical skills to deliver safe and effective care.
Qualifications & Skills:
– Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience.
– Current LPN license in the state of practice.
– BLS certification; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, PEARS, or S.T.A.B.L.E. may be required based on department.
– Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
– IV certification within one year of hire.
– Experience in a clinical setting is advantageous.
