Role Overview:
Seeking a Sonographer & Radiology Technologist to perform ultrasound imaging for pediatric and adult patients, including abdominal, small parts, obstetrical, and vascular studies. Responsibilities include ensuring equipment readiness, conducting imaging procedures independently, and documenting procedures accurately. May assist with needle-guided interventions such as biopsies and drainages, and perform portable exams at various sites.
Qualifications & Skills:
- RDMS certification required; R.T. (R) preferred
- Associate degree or equivalent trade school training
- No prior experience necessary; 2+ years preferred
- Licenses & certifications: RDMS or equivalent, CPR, RDCS or equivalent (preferred)
Key Duties:
- Maintain equipment functionality
- Perform ultrasound exams with proper documentation
- Conduct studies independently, including portable and after-hours exams
