Role Overview:
Seeking a Sonographer for a PRN position in a Breast Center. The role involves performing ultrasound imaging, including breast, abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical scans, to aid in diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities include ensuring equipment readiness, conducting independent examinations, documenting procedures, and assisting with needle procedures such as biopsies and drainages. The position requires breast sonography experience and certification.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or equivalent
- RDMS or similar certification
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience, RDCS or equivalent, CPR certification
- No supervision experience necessary
Key Duties:
- Properly operate and maintain ultrasound equipment
- Perform imaging studies accurately and independently
- Document procedures thoroughly
- Support various ultrasound exams, including portable and off-site studies
