Role Overview:
Seeking a Sonographer for a prn position at an outpatient imaging center. The role involves performing ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, small parts, obstetrical, and vascular imaging, on adult and pediatric patients for diagnostic and treatment purposes. The sonographer ensures equipment readiness, conducts imaging studies independently, and may perform on-call, portable, or site-specific exams.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper function and readiness of ultrasound equipment.
- Perform accurate ultrasound imaging and document procedures thoroughly.
- Conduct studies independently, including on-call and portable exams at various locations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or trade school certification in sonography.
- Licensure as RDMS or equivalent; certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) preferred.
- No previous experience required; 2+ years of experience and RDCS certification are preferred.
- Ability to perform vascular imaging and needle procedures as needed.
