Sonographer (Nights)

Role Overview:

Seeking a full-time Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, small parts, obstetrical, and vascular studies, for adult and pediatric patients. The role involves ensuring equipment readiness, performing imaging procedures independently, and documenting results accurately. The sonographer may also assist with needle procedures such as biopsies and drainages.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper function and readiness of ultrasound equipment.
  • Perform ultrasound examinations and document procedures thoroughly.
  • Conduct studies independently, including on-call, portable exams, and at various sites as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associate degree or equivalent from a trade school.
  • RDMS or equivalent certification; CPR and RDCS or similar preferred.
  • No prior experience required; 2+ years’ experience and additional certifications are advantageous.

Additional Information:

  • Role involves night shifts, with 10-hour shifts, four days a week, and holiday rotation (on-call).
