Sonographer

Role Overview:
The Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging for diagnostic and treatment purposes across various areas, including abdominal, obstetrical, small parts, and vascular imaging. They may assist with needle procedures such as biopsies and drainages. The role involves ensuring equipment readiness, conducting independent studies, and documenting procedures accurately.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure proper function of imaging equipment
  • Perform ultrasound examinations independently
  • Document procedures thoroughly
  • Perform on-call, portable, and site-specific studies as needed

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Associate degree or equivalent
  • Registered Diagnostic Sonographer (RDMS or equivalent)
  • Preferred: < 2 years of experience, CPR, RDCS or equivalent
