Seeking a skilled Social Services Clinician for a Level IV Critical Access Hospital in Southeast Alaska.
Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, brief therapy, and discharge planning for patients from birth to elder. Collaborate with hospital teams and community partners to coordinate care and advocate for clients. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulations and billing standards. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, staff training, and quality improvement efforts. Qualifications include a Master’s in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field, licensure or in process, and clinical competency within 3 months of hire. Knowledge of discharge planning, crisis intervention, and ethical practices required. Valid driver’s license and ability to perform case management essential.
