Provide professional nursing care in the operating room, delivering safe and effective perioperative services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients and identify nursing needs before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Deliver direct operating room nursing support in accordance with established policies and physician orders.
- Maintain patient safety and support quality outcomes under direction of the director or charge nurse.
- Complete float assignments to support coverage based on assessed competency and skill level.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong perioperative nursing knowledge and clinical assessment skills.
- Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced surgical environment.
- Demonstrated competency appropriate for operating room duties.
