Role Overview: Responsible for unloading trucks, breaking down pallets, and organizing products within the warehouse. Assists with sanitation, inventory control, and may handle fueling, washing, or cleaning semi-trucks/trailers. Supports various warehouse tasks including product checking, order selection, palletizing, and labeling to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload products from trucks and organize items onto pallets and warehouse racks.
- Handle cases, boxes, and pallets of groceries, produce, meats, and other products, moving them safely and efficiently.
- Assist with sanitation duties and truck maintenance tasks.
- Verify product accuracy, check for damage, and assist with order picking and packing.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Report damaged products, low stock, and safety issues; participate in product rotation and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in warehouse operations and equipment operation preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., work in multi-temperature environments, and perform physical tasks.
- Strong communication, reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and adapt to changing work demands.
- Commitment to safety, punctuality, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
Physical & Work Environment: Must frequently stand, walk, crouch, and lift heavy items. Work may involve exposure to moderate/high noise levels and temperature variations. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime is required.
