- Lead safety improvement projects and support plant and department safety initiatives.
- Proactively implement PDCA cycles to reduce injuries and hazards, fostering a safety culture.
- Support department leaders and safety committees using expertise to promote safety excellence.
- Interpret and apply safety policies, perform complex safety activities such as risk assessments and ergonomic studies, and document safety results.
- Present safety data, analyze trends, and develop professional skills.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or related fields, with 0-4 years safety experience. Key skills involve understanding safety regulations, communication, data analysis, root cause analysis, and ability to work in manufacturing environments. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written skills are required, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Office and problem-solving abilities.
Working conditions encompass open and manufacturing environments with potential overtime, shift rotations, and minimal travel.
