Role: The Assistant Manager, Safety leads safety compliance initiatives by managing a team of safety professionals, driving system improvements, and ensuring safety standards align with operational and business goals.
Responsibilities:
Lead safety improvement projects and manage daily safety operations. Mentor team members and foster technical expertise. Apply safety policies and perform complex safety assessments, including risk and ergonomic studies. Analyze safety data, develop reports, and present safety results. Promote continuous safety improvements through PDCA cycles. Develop professional skills and technical knowledge.Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field; 8+ years safety experience or equivalent. Professional safety certifications preferred. Strong communication, data analysis, problem-solving, and planning skills. Knowledge of safety regulations and injury prevention strategies. Experience with root cause analysis and safety management tools.Working Conditions: Open office or manufacturing environments, with potential for overtime, varying shifts, and minimal travel.
