We are seeking an Assistant Manager, Safety to lead safety initiatives and teams in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading safety improvement projects and managing daily operations of safety professionals.
- Mentoring team members and fostering technical expertise.
- Applying safety standards, policies, and procedures to reduce hazards and injuries.
- Conducting risk assessments, ergonomic studies, and safety data analysis.
- Reporting safety activities and results, utilizing problem-solving and root cause analysis.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field.
- 8+ years of safety experience or equivalent manufacturing background.
- Professional safety certifications (e.g., Safety Professional, Occupational Hygiene).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and data analysis skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, risk management, and budget planning.
