Position: RN Weekender – Medical Pulmonary Unit
Location: Arlington Heights, IL
Hours: Full time, 36 hours/week, 7:00am – 7:30pm, with 4 weekend shifts every 2 weeks
Responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive patient assessments and collecting health data involving patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Coordinating patient care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate
- Effectively communicating with patients, families, and colleagues in person, over the phone, and in writing
- Personalizing patient and family education based on assessment and learning needs
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness
- Maintaining current knowledge of nursing standards, laws, and regulations
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or BSN from an accredited nursing program
- Current nursing licensure in Illinois
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association
