RN-Weekend Option-Medical Progressive Care (Critical Care)

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient-centered care in a Medical Progressive Care Unit (MPCU).


Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering comprehensive nursing care to adults with complex medical conditions, following evidence-based practices.
  • Monitoring vital signs, neurological, respiratory, renal functions, and infection indicators, intervening promptly.
  • Administering medications, treatments, and procedures with accuracy and clinical judgment.
  • Collaborating with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educating patients and families on medical conditions, treatments, medications, and post-discharge care.
  • Documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic medical records.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and ensuring patient safety.
  • Providing compassionate, holistic care aligned with organizational values.

Qualifications include:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Active RN license (state-specific).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Preferred experience in medical-surgical, telemetry, or acute care settings.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and NIH Stroke Scale certifications are advantageous.
