The RN – Team Coordinator is responsible for patient care and team leadership in an acute care setting, ensuring safe, patient-centered services.
He/she practices autonomously within regulatory and organizational standards, guiding collaborative practice and implementing evidence-based nursing processes.
The role includes supervising staff, facilitating communication, resolving conflicts, and mentoring new or less experienced nurses.
He/she participates in quality improvement, LEAN initiatives, and educational activities, serving as a professional role model and resource.
Requirements include a nursing degree (BSN preferred), RN licensure, BLS certification, and relevant clinical experience. Supervisory experience, certifications, and ongoing education are advantageous.
The position involves night shifts, rotating weekends, and no travel, with a focus on fostering teamwork, maintaining standards, and supporting departmental and organizational initiatives.
